Positions at Oxford
As our shop grows, so does our needs for mechanics. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the scrupulous care and service of our customer's cars. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to learn from, and work along side our experienced technicians on a day-to-day basis. Applicants should have one to five years experience working in automotive service, either on classic or modern cars.
While our mechanics are the heartbeat of the shop, our office administrators are its backbone. They are responsible for the shop's scheduling, billing, and customer service and relations. Our office administrators are also responsible for marketing and social media outreach. Candidates should have one to three years experience working as an office administrate and great organization and customer service skills.
In 2015, Oxford introduced its internship program, which offers its participants an apprentice-style learning environment. Interns will have the opportunity to learn the basic principles of automotive service, working closely with our experienced staff. They will also have the opportunity to participate in events sponsored by Oxford Motorcars and interact with customers. Typically, those in the internship program work at Oxford part time for a duration of three months at a time. During this time, interns will be paid a weekly stipend for the work they perform during the week. Candidates should have fundamental knowledge of automotive principles and a great work ethic.
