On May 7th, Oxford once again opened our doors for a Cars & Coffee event. This time we took it back to basics; there were no car clubs and no demonstrations - just cars and coffee. After a slow start, we had a surprising turn out of car enthusiasts that were eager to socialize. Individuals gathered into small groups and conversations began to fill the room. Shop mechanic, Jim Egan, could be seen leading groups around a few of Oxford’s more precious cars – explaining their back stories and what makes them so unique.
Over all this event was a definite success! We were joined by some old friends and made some new ones. The conversations carried on for so long, it seemed like no one wanted to leave. And when you almost run out of coffee, you know everyone had a good time.
